Kruger parc

About Kruger park: 7 000 000 ha, 2500 km of roads, 507 birds spicies, 147 mammals species, 110 different reptils, 300 different trees. The parc is named as his founder: Paul Kruger, it`s the oldest game reserve in Africa: 1898, its name was "Sabie reserve". Lord Stevenson Hamilton, developed the reserve during 44 years.

The Kruger park impressed us by his immensity, his nature diversity, and the change of sceneries from North to South, separate by a distance of 350 Km. Our trip start the 25 th of December 2001, in punda Maria, oldest camp in the reserve, and then Olifants, on a top of a hill, with an impressive view over olifants river, path of the elephants. We end up the last 3 days, in a camp site: Balule, came back to Durban on the 1 rst of January.

Kruger is for me a mythical place, where you can feel the wild bush surrounding you, all the time, Kruger could be the heart of the wild Africa.
